# beachmat extension for HDF5 This package implements an `initializeCpp()` method for the **tatami** representations from the [**tatami_hdf5**](https://github.com/tatami-inc/tatami_hdf5) C++ library. Developers or users simply have to import this package into the current R session in order for these methods to take effect.
